The remainder is substantially stock. I'm guessing it has not had a lot of use since the choke is still in good condition with no insulation'leakage'.
I installed four new output tubes which are a matched quad of JJ's from Tube Deport. The preamp/driver tubes are a pair of NOS JAN 6U8's each mounted in a pin-adapter that plugs into the 7199 sockets. The rectifier is a Sino GZ34. Following cleanup and miscellaneous work, performance was checked.
Bias is set to 1.45 V at 120 VAC. Distortion was checked at 26/26 watts output and measured L=. At higher power of 34/34 watts output, distortion was L&R=0.15%. Signal to Noise was L=-85db, R=-81db.There is minor, but extensive, small surface rust on the chassis. The cover is in good condition (no dents) and its paint is good. The unit idles at 1.4A when the Variac is set to 122VAC. As with all the equipment I sell, this amplifier is guaranteed. It neither of us any good if you are unhappy!
